Paul McGirr represented former NRL Origin legend Ben Kennedy at Waverley Local Court. Mr McGirr made submissions about Mr Kennedy having mixed alcohol with strong pain medication for back pain which caused him to have ended up in a Border Force facility. The presiding Magistrate issued Mr Kennedy a 12-month good behaviour bond despite the bizarre factual circumstances.
